I think I need a tripod. It is very difficult to snap a shot of the moon when my hands are shaking....:o)Moon Names

Are you kidding me?!?! You took these shots?!?! What kind of a telephoto lens do you have? And when did you see the moon like this? WOW!!!
I'm not familiar with the "trapper's moon" reference, and when I googled it your posting was the number one result and the rest seemed to be some book.....help a brotha out!
Those are great shots! I tried taking pictures of the moon this morning and they did not turn out well at all...
Ryan, I took the name Trappers Moon from my Susan Branch calendar for the month of November....however, after doing some quick research, she was wrong! The only reference to a trappers moon is from a site that has February as the trappers moon.:o)
yo beanball, I took these picture Wednesday night...it was a crystal clear night around these parts!
gUESS WE JUST HAVE TOO MANY TALL TREES UP HERE TO SEE THE MOON....... I see Bethany L took some shots, too, so must have been clear here, too.
