Farmhouse Biscuits

These are so easy and so yummy, you must make them soon to serve with your dinner. I made a favorite soup (kielbasa) and served these farmhouse biscuits with honey butter. My family was very happy. :o)

Farmhouse Biscuits:
1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream

Preheat oven to 450. Butter a baking sheet & flour work surface. Combine 1st four ingred. Mix in sour cream with fingers just until blended. ( I use a fork.) Get the mess to hold together; transfer to floured surface. Pat dough out to 1/2" thick. Cut dough with a 2" round cutter (I used a heart dipped in flour). Bake 10-12 min. 'til lightly browned.

I I found your blog through A Simple Woman and well... I knew I had the ingredients for this! Ran to the kitchen with my 3 3/4 year old and they are now cooking! SO EASY! And she LOVED it! Can't wait to taste the finished product! we made little "bells" because... well, it was the only cutter in the drawer and we are the BELL family! Thank you for sharing!
