Owen and Olivia found a dead deer in late July. They have been trying to get me to take pictures all these past weeks, and now that it has fully decomposed, I was willing to walk a block away to see the carnage for myself.

I have received daily updates on the poor creature's decomposition. I was informed of the bloating and assured it was the worst smell they had ever encountered.

I heard about the blood coming from it's ear and all the possible explanations for the cause of death.

When the flies and maggots and ants arrived you
know I heard about that too.

A deer molar? A joint? No matter, O'dog thinks it's a real treasure.

Miss. Livi had to have one too.

Satisfied that I finally got to see "their" deer, Owen was off to find a drill. To make a necklace of his molar.

Forensics....or just Funrensics! That is cool, deer molar necklace.
ah, sick.
O and L, you two have some strange hobbies! I'm with M on this one: ah, sick.
add my name to that opinion, too.... ah, sick! But you two never cease to amaze me with your curiosity!
I'm going against the flow to say that I think it's cool! Don't get me wrong...I would be looking at it. But pictures on the internet I can handle. What a cool mom that lets you take such adventures!
