"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully.
"It's the same thing," he said.
I recently purchased the A. A. Milne Pooh Classics boxed set of CDs, and since it has been raining, it's been the perfect time to get cozy, be transported to the Hundred Acre Wood and enjoy Winnie-the-Pooh. He is a bear of very little brain, but lots of heart.
And when we have finished, we mosey on into the kitchen for a little smackeral of something yummy, containing honey of course. Poohanpiglet Pancakes:
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. honey
1 c. milk
2 eggs
2 T. butter
1/2 c. fresh blueberries
Rub your pancake griddle or frying pan with the cut half of a turnip, or grease it witha little butter. In a bowl mix dry ingredients. Melt butter and set aside to cool. Stir in milk and beaten eggs. Add melted butter. And the berries. Cook and eat.
"I've been finding things in the Forest," said Tigger importantly. "I've found a pooh and a piglet and an eeyore, but I can't find any breakfast." The House at Pooh Corner

Ahhh.......my most favortist character and cookbook! I think Bethany L would agree with Pooh's assessment of excitement and eating! According to her blog from yesterday anyway!
