A Featherd Nest

This is the fifth nest Miss. Livi has found...the third at our new house. We had strong wind and rain last night so we believe it was blown out of the Monkey Pod tree. There is a little empty egg in there that resembles the color of a Starbucks chocolate chip mocha. :o)

I have a bird's nest collection at home that I like to decorate my Christmas tree with. They look so sweet and natural on our traditional Noble fir, nestled among the branches. They are lovingly placed along with the crochet snowflakes, made by my mom my first Christmas as a new bride, some "snowballs", and lots of white twinkle lights. I think though, I'm going to find a way to display them year round.
