I made a most delish chilled beet soup with horseradish sour cream sauce topped with fresh dill. Everyone loved it, except for Scott. There's always one in the crowd. :O)

I'm with Scott...and furthermore I think beets give vegetables a bad name...they're the Barry Bonds of vegies.

Beets...The Barry Bonds of vegies!! I love it! I also love beets. I really love pickeled beets and use to make them when you kids were little. Nancy, offer your dad some beets and see what he says!! "THEY TASTE LIKE DIRT!" Hummmm never could taste that..
