When the sun makes an appearance here in the
Great Pacific NorthWet you've got to take advantage of it. So I bought paint. Lime green paint, baby!

Remember the red lawn furniture that I really wanted to paint
Pepto Bismol Pink? Well, over the long and dreary winter, I decided green was the way to go. My friend Conti came over Tuesday and helped me paint.

Bye bye red, hello
lime green!
Can you believe the pollen this year?
Insane, man. It's thick, and makes my eyes itch.

My allergy sensitive children have been miserable. But it hasn't stopped them from playing outside. So what if their eyes are
swollen and
red and their noses are stuffed and runny at the same time. The sun is out!

Mr. and Mrs. Chickadee's bath dried up and filled with pollen.

What can I say?

I tried to catch the
cloud of pollen kicked up by the cars as they went past my home. Can you see it?

Pollen tracks in the driveway made by Zach and his skateboard. Enough already with the pollen. I'm glad it rained Wednesday to wash it all away.

I did do a little planting too on Tuesday while waiting for the paint to dry. Olivia made this sweet little planter last
summer at vacation Bible school. Owen made one also, and soon I will pot it up too.

Here is the finished project. A little sitting area to enjoy with friends and family. It just needs some pretty flowers around, a pillow or two and a table to set our lemonade on. I love it!

Cool chairs. They look Pepto Green. I have to admit they look much better....more Springy. Good job Sweetness.
The pollen is out of control this year!
Wow... I've never seen pollen like that. I didn't even know it ever fell that thick. I like that lime green too.
Love that color on the chairs! Maybe it will inspire me to repaint my red chairs some fun color! Been red about 20 years now...
Can't believe that pollen! Hope it won't be that thick here!
wow, all that pollen... looks like a honeybee's heaven!
beautiful chairs, btw... all that hard work paid off.
Just Lovely Mamapua!
Once again... a learning experience. Dusting, clouds, layers of POLLEN? Are you serious?
That's incredible.
Also, reminds me maybe I should bring my Allegra with me. :)
