O Winter, King of Intimate Delights....

The snow is back (groan) and what better way to start school after our much needed winter break than with a little Bach playing in the background and a new art medium?
Oil pastels, black construction paper and snowmen were our inspiration. Here is mine.
Miss. M, drawing with pencil, her snowman.
See the cardinal? We don't have any cardinals here in Washington, but I saw one when I went to Virginia. A very pretty bird indeed. Miss. M added it to her winter scene.
O'doggy worked ever so carefully so as not to smear or smudge.
Here is his finished masterpiece.
Miss. Livi enjoyed herself enough to want to make another picture. See the cosy cabin in the snow? Now, it's time for a snack........
