My daughter and my sweet aunt are both doll lovers and collectors. When Amanda was little, she would get letters from my aunt's dolls and she would answer them like she was one of her dolls.....doll penpals. It was a great way to encourage writing. I have saved a bunch of my dear aunt's letters and they are precious to me.
Your post reminds me of her because she always had her dolls posed in some way for visitors.

It is so nice to see Maria again. I wondered what she had bee up to since Christmas. Ta Ta off to have a spot of tea myself!
