Simply Delightful.....

For Wednesday, September 17

Outside my window.....it is still dark...very dark.

I am thinking.....it's going to be another delightful weather day....and I should start weatherizing my yard.

I am thankful for.....my husband who works so hard to provide for us.

From the kitchen.....I smell coffee that Scott made before he left for work. I wish I had a cinnamon roll to go with it.

I am wearing.....my uniform. My morning uniform...p.j.'s, sweater, and runners.

I am reading.....Bambi by Felix Salten to the youngers and Patrick Henry and Little Women on my own...still.

I am hoping.....O'dog's glasses arrive soon.

I am creating.....an embroidered snot rag for each of us.

I am hearing.....98.1 Seattle's Classical music station...and my corgi snoring at my feet.

Around the house.....is a pile of clutter on every horizontal surface! Mostly books though....that's what happens when school is in session.

One of my favorite things.....the smell of the salt air when I step out my back door. I love living near the salty waters of Puget Sound.

A few plans for the rest of the week.....I have none...just school, school, and more school. I do need to go to the post office though.

A picture thought I am sharing with you.....

A lowly dandelion in a field, near the lake, in my 'hood.

I like these blogs......you going to do them once a week? Or just whenever the mood strikes? Or? Everyone of your blogs is great! I like them all! I best check out this Simple Woman's Daybook one for myself :-)

I think I'm going to do it each Wednesday...unless I have something totally spectacular I have just got to share!

Hey Mamapua....there is nothing simple about you.....I really love to read your words and look at the pictures of my grand-chilies.

Your photo of an ordinary dandelion makes it look like a pretty little wild flower...
