Savoring Summer
"THE SUNSHINE SEEMED TO BLESS, THE AIR WAS A CARESS" ~ John Greenleaf Whittier

I know some folks like to usher in the new season as soon as it turns September, but not me, man. I need to savor each and every summer day that is given. I've got to suck the marrow out of it....got to lick the plate....got to...to...to...well, you get the picture. I've got to soak in every last ray of sunshine. Ü

Exactly... it's not fall for another ten days!
Your blog is totally opposite mine today. Funny! Be sure to post picture of fall. I'm going to miss it. :( I'm really sad. It's my favorite.
Sarah, autumn is my absolute favorite season as well....only, I know that along with the yummy smells and spices and colors of fall comes the cold and rain! So I MUST SAVOR THE SUNSHINE!
We are busy squeezing the last drops of summer ourselves. :)
Three weekends of picnic dinners at the lake and I'm still not ready for fall.

Love your music today
I like Summer but my favorite seasons are Fall and Winter. I like the rainy and cold days...it gives me a good excuse to stay in the house and maybe clean it!! But most of the time it is an excuse to veg and read or cross stich or whatever...then I am ready to go back to work and fry my brain cells!
I love the Dogs shaking hands...Nancy.
You take the best pictures, Nancy!
Hmmm, fall is my favorite season, so on this side of the mountains all you hear are shouts of joy that it's just around the corner.... :)
