Berry Delicious


Old Fashioned Raspberry Cobbler:
2 c. raspberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbs. butter
1/2 sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2/3 c. whole milk

In a saucepan stir water and cup of sugar together and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 min. Stir in berries and let boil for about 2 min. Remove pan from heat. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Mix in the beaten egg. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture alternately into butter-sugar mixture with milk. Mix till well blended. Pour batter into a 1 and a 1/2 quart buttered baking dish. Pour in berry mixture. Bake in 375 oven for 45 min.

That looks so good, I bet the sides,close to the edge of the pan got kind of gummy...my favorite...what if you had say, a bit french vanilla ice cream with it. Oolala!(like Cisco would say it)That looks good you should send me some (overnight maybe).
