Sense and Sensibility's Colonel Brandon has something of a checkered past and has been hurt in love before, but he's not afraid to fall again if you'll let him.I have been reading Austens's novels since arriving in Hawaii....I've finished Sense and Sensibility and have Emma on my night stand. I was secretly hoping Colonel Brandon would be the gent for me.....Sense and Sensibility is my favorite Austen novel. I love the movie too. Mr. Darcy is my man. But my new favorite is Mr. Thornton from the BBC series North and South. If you can rent that...so good. I think you will like Ms. Hale too.
