This recipe comes from the 'More-with-Less World Community Cookbook'. The cover of the book say, "recipes and suggestions on how to eat better and consume less of the world's limited food resources." I use this cookbook all the time. It is my favorite of all the "natural, healthy, frugal" type books that I own. So here's the recipe. It is delicious and my family loooves it.
Honey Baked Chicken
Preheat oven to 350
Arrange in shallow baking pan, skin-side up
3+ lbs. fryer, cut up
Combine and pour over:
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. honey
2 T. prepared mustard
1 t. salt
1 t. curry powder ( this makes the dish awesome and your house smell sooo good)
Bake 1 1/4 of an hour, basting every 15 minutes, until chicken is tender and nicely browned. Serve with rice. ( brown rice is even better)
