Yeah, I realize summer is nearly over, but it's better late than never. Right? I have done a lot of reading this summer; some books I enjoyed immensely and others I didn't bother to finish. Some on the list I have read in the past and I just wanted to reread them. Others I read for the first time. I even read one twice! It was that good. :O)
And how do you choose a book? Recommendations from trusted friends? By topic or genre? Or like me, do you pick a book simply because if its appealing cover or title? And just how cool is that when the story is actually as good as the cover made you hope it would be? I love it when that happens. :o)
This is a book list. Not reviews or recommendations. We all have different reading tastes, and we read for different reasons (some want to be entertained, that would be me, while others are seeking specific knowledge, that would be me too. :O). So, take it for what it is. A list of diverse subjects written by a diverse group of authors, not all necessarily of the same mind as myself.

No better time to read than in the summer! Of course, a rainy winter day is pretty good for reading too....
Twilight Saga--loved it!
Garden Spells--loved it!
Maybe I'll have to pick another title from your list...
I have enjoyed Agatha Chritie novels in the past..... who done it.... fun! I just finished listening to Twilight #1. Fun, but not sure I can get into it as much as you and Bethany did.
I will get the Potato Peel Pie one from the library.
And what a lovely drink you have pictured with the books! You are so good at composing photos!
Ok...bottom of the list... but at least it is there!
I'd love to see y'alls reading lists....
I'm still reading Farm City...very good...and then I'll begin Harry Potter. The library called yesterday to let me know it is in. :O)
I just picked up a book from the bookstore on Monday - Chefs On the Farm. Snuck off down to the river with blanket & book for a couple of blissful hours. ahhhh.
Glad to see that you're venturing into the entertaining workd of Harry Potter! A couple years ago I read all seven in three weeks... It was entertaining! I have heard that each book is written for the audience of the age of Harry, so they get more mature as you go on in the series. There's even a book that is full of teenage angst...But bear with it, it'll be worth it!
