Bunny Nugget as a baby.
Bunny laid her first egg yesterday. We are all so happy and proud!! This is what we have been waiting for. This is what I have become a rebel, coventant breaking, member of the chicken underground for.
Scott went out to the playhouse to investigate a bit of commotion and found it sitting under the roost. It's as small as my egg salt-n-pepper shaker. Thank you Bunny. :o)

Yes, now that it is Tuesday I have three eggs! I wonder when the other 4 hens will begin laying? And as it turns out, it wasn't Bunny but Charity (a barred rock)that has started laying.
So how'd it taste?
Hi Amy! We haven't actually tasted one yet. I've been saving them to make something special.....have any suggestions? Today I will have 12 eggs!
