What is the first white photo? It is so interesting and I have never seen it before that I can recall.

I have to tell you that the last two times that I have read your blog and Ode to Joy comes on, I hear my son whistling it for a long time afterward. It is just a catchy tune. :)

Thanks for sharing your color walk.

So creative! Wonderful pictures. I love the black bird with orange. Reminds me of an oriole, but they are not out on the WEst Coast, are they?

Hi Barb...that is the snowberry...a native these parts....:o)

Beanball...the bird is a red winged blackbird....it has a very pretty song...we made a video of them yesterday on our walk....maybe if I can figure it out I'll post it for your listening enjoyment. :O)

Your color walk inspired a project with my son. Once a week we go on a color walk. He picks a color and we take photographs of everything we can find in that color. I'll print the photos and he will create a scrapbook of the things we see on our walks.

Thanks for the idea!
