Located on the south east point of Oahu is Makapuu. This is yet another area of the island that I think is just soo beautiful.

Of all the different colors of water that can be found in Hawaii, here is my favorite. The deep blue and the turquoise mingled together is just so awesome. I also love the way the mountain just seems to flow right into the sea. Well heck, I guess it did do just that didn't it? Being a former underground volcano and all.

These are the islands Manana (Rabbit) Island and Kaohikaipu Island.

My father-in-law says this is his favorite place to swim because of the clarity of the water. We never swim here though. I wonder why?
Oh yeah, maybe because each time we have tried there were Portuguese-man-o-war....stinging jellyfish.

Oops! Here are my feet again. Just a reminder that it is time
once again for a pedicure.

Ah, so nice. So blue. So powerful. During the winter months there is a fierce shore break and strong current. This makes it a pretty hip place with the experienced locals who enjoy body surfing and boogie boarding. Sorry Zach, I like your spine where it is. No, you can not join the other children with their boogie boards!

Let's just watch and enjoy the beauty from here, shall we?
